As private dick Reiji's case heats up, he worries for the safety of his younger sister, but it's her best friend he should be concerned about. Yukari's BFF Tsuzuriko comes to Reiji with a novel containing startling similarities to the recent spate of crimes against schoolgirls, but he refuses to go with her to question the author.
